It is my understanding that we remain on track for an "Update" from Medinah.  I assume it will be later today.

I like this and posted about it on the regular board. There is a need for an information only board that everyone can follow but have only those that contribute real DD to their posts. It does not restrict anyone from making posts on the regular board and everything is in open view. The biggest complaint I receive about our board is that many complain about having to wade through a whole bunch of posts to find one with any kind of real research in it. This new board will be of benefit to those that are new and looking for information and also all the regular members who are looking for information only. Kirk

I was told as well to expect it this weekend but they did leave the door open to an early Monday morning update at the latest. Kirk

Well I may be confused so I'll make the point here and if it belongs elsewhere then I'll stand corrected.  I just wanted to remind everyone that if we see an update that says "Joint Venture" completed that we saw this on April 29th, I guess if we receive an update it is post CYA and a whoops we just couldn't delay it any longer...LOL!

"Joint Venture Agreement negotiations are ongoing and in earnest in Santiago, Chile with various parties pursuant to Non-Disclosure and Non-Circumvention Agreements among the parties.

Until such time as a signed and notarized legal Joint Venture Agreement is completed, we are bound by various disclosure restrictions that will not be violated by Medinah Minerals, Inc. officials. Immediately, upon the signed execution of an Agreement, transparent details of the transaction will be released for all shareholders and interested parties.

The Company cautions and admonishes all shareholders that non-verifiable rumours are not credible. Only noteworthy events that are officially presented as fact on the Medinah Minerals, Inc. website are credible."

There would be a big different if they use the wording completed or agreement in place. That is a big different from saying ongoing as was used in previous updates. Privately they have said complete but to really have meaning it needs to be said publicly. Kirk

Mike..is the AGL copper find 50 km. NE of Santiago part of our mountain range?

I posted a response to your question a couple of days ago..see below

One of the two Anglo discoveries is about 7 kilometers south of Los Bronces. The other is immediately adjacent to Los Bronces. That would be about 40 miles east of our property. From what I remember Los Bronces is on the same fault line as our property and porphyry's are usually located on fault lines. That says to me our property has potential. Is that right Mike Gold? What did I miss?

"The only connection is that there is a first order tectonic segment that runs West to East through the Alto to the vicinity of Los Bronces. (The coastal range and the Andes formed in different geologic epochs.)   It isn't a "fault" in the conventional sense such as an San Andre fault etc..it's a lot bigger and a more permanent feature directly related to large scale plate tectonics.  There is speculation that this feature over geologic time has created a weakness in the crust that has added to the build up of rich metallic fluids under both properties.  A similar feature further North in Chile has a cluster of rich porphyry's around it suggesting some relationship."

I think that it will become clear in the next while that is when the major JV partner and JJ reach their agreement. The time since has been the JV partners working out the deal between themselves. Kirk

Well, obviously this "update" was not exactly what some of us were expecting.  However, reading between the lines, the fact that they went into so much detail about the NDA agreements, seems to be their way of letting us know that there is a whole lotta good stuff they wish they could tell us, but just can't.  Anyone else have some positive spin on this thing?  It beats the alternative.  :'(
